On May 26th, Taylor Swift brought out Ice Spice to perform the "Karma" remix for the first time!

Swift's Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition) was released on the same day with additional tracks "Hits Different," "Snow On The Beach (feat. More Lana Del Rey)," and "Karma (feat. Ice Spice)."

The East Rutherford crowd did not expect Ice Spice to appear. After the show and Ice Spice's special performance, Swift tweeted, "The way the whole stadium screamed when Ice literally popped up unannounced."

In addition to the "Karma" remix performance, Swift also premiered the music video for it an hour before it officially dropped online. In a touching moment, Swift was able to watch the "Karma" remix video with her dancers who starred in it and helped direct it.

While explaining the music video, Swift also talked about how her collaboration with Ice Spice came to be. She said, "At the very beginning of the year, when I was just starting to train for this tour, I got reached out to by Ice Spice. She reached out and said, ‘If you’d ever like to do a collab, I would love to.’ And what she didn’t know at the time is that when I was training for the tour, I was listening to pretty much exclusively just her music every single day. All day. … So I said, ‘Absolutely, when can we do it?’ So we immediately went into the studio and I just not only fell in love with her, but just decided she’s the entire future. … I’ve been around so many artists and so many artists just starting out, but I’ve never been around an artist who’s so prepared and curious and focused on what she wants.”

Prior to the release of "Karma (feat. Ice Spice)," Swift posted on Instagram where she said, "I'm a massive fan of this brilliant artist [Ice Spice] and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch."

After her performance in front of MetLife Stadium's crowd of over 72,000 people, Ice Spice tweeted her appreciation to Swift and her fans.

With the "Karma" remix, Ice Spice achieved the biggest streaming debut for a female rapper in global Spotify history! After reading the news on Twitter, Ice Spice tweeted, "swifties x munchies = <3."
