Pecos & The Rooftops deliver another emotional punch with the release of their newest single, “Rock Song,” available now via Warner Records.
The track finds lead vocalist Pecos Hurley reflecting on the aftermath of a toxic relationship. Gritty guitars and raw, powerful lyrics take center stage as Hurley sings, “While I’m missing what I lost / Grab that Gibson off the wall / And drink a few, right at home / Writing you a baby / You can keep the rock song.” The result is an edgy, confessional breakup anthem that showcases the band’s signature blend of Southern rock, country, and emotionally charged storytelling.
“Rock Song” follows recent releases including “11 Beers,” “Sweet Tumbleweed,” and “Missing Peace,” continuing a streak of music that highlights the group’s growth, maturity, and ability to tap into real, relatable emotions. The track combines vulnerable lyricism with thunderous instrumentation, reminding fans why Pecos & The Rooftops are one of the most exciting acts in country rock.
Formed in Lubbock, Texas, Pecos & The Rooftops exploded onto the scene with their debut single “This Damn Song,” which has now been certified 2x Platinum and has garnered over 545 million streams. With a loyal fanbase, a catalog of deeply personal songs, and electrifying live shows, the band, comprised of Pecos Hurley, Jessie Santos, Steven Buehler, Garrett Peltier, and Jared French, continues to make waves in the country and rock space.
Fans can catch the group on the road throughout the spring and summer, with headline shows and festival appearances scheduled across the U.S. Tour dates and ticket information can be found at pecos-rooftops.com.
